We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Development Advisor (8-Month Fixed-Term Contract) to join the Talent Team. Based in Support Hub, this role is integral to supporting the growth and development of colleagues across Retail. Working in collaboration with stakeholders across the retail estate and central teams, this role is involved in the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning solutions, including both face-to-face and digital delivery, with a strong focus on driving performance in a fast-paced retail environment. • Build genuine, strong, and effective relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues across retail stores and head office functions to support the delivery of the Talent strategy, • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider People Team to ensure a cohesive, joined-up approach to key Talent Development activity such as onboarding, digital learning, and career development programmes across the retail population, • Take an end-to-end approach, considering all colleague touchpoints, and manage the full project lifecycle for all talent development initiatives, • Manage relationships with and develop Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), particularly within retail operations, to support the delivery of technical and role-specific training content, • Play a key part in the creation of innovative digital and blended learning solutions to build high-performing retail teams, keeping up to date with latest external trends and retail best practice, • Maintain a strong commercial focus, ensuring all learning interventions are aligned to the Talent strategy and support key retail priorities such as sales performance, customer experience, and operational excellence, • Continually look for improved ways of working within Talent and across retail and central functions to reduce duplication and drive efficiencies, • Design, deliver, and promote a range of development opportunities and resources, including onboarding, leadership development for store managers, and masterclasses accessible to colleagues at all levels, • Evaluate all talent interventions and use data and insights to inform future decisions and enhance retail performance, • Manage the customer-facing elements of the digital learning platform, including the upload and maintenance of relevant, engaging retail-focused learning content and resources, • Take ownership of your own development by identifying growth areas and sharing new knowledge and retail insights across the Talent Team, • You have a strong understanding of retail operations and store environment, • You're passionate about developing others and helping colleagues grow, with a natural ability to share knowledge and support learning on the shop floor, • You may already have experience delivering or supporting training, coaching colleagues, or leading team development activities, or you're keen to build these skills, • Confident communicator who can engage and build relationships with colleagues at all levels, from stores to support hub, • Comfortable using Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, • You're organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment, • Curious and open to learning, with a desire to develop your skills in learning and development, • Previous experience designing learning solutions or formal L&D qualifications (e.g. CIPD, coaching, or psychometrics) are beneficial but not essential - we welcome applicants with strong retail experience and the potential to grow, • 20% staff discount, which increases with length of service, • Thrive Recognition Scheme, • Wellbeing support provided by the Retail Trust, • Life Assurance, • Retail Rewards platform offering discounts for other retailers, • Pension Scheme, • Access to a wide range of career development, • Additional benefits may apply depending on your role and area of the business #J-18808-Ljbffr
