    The Opportunity On behalf of our client, a leading provider in the property and professional services sector, we are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to join their senior leadership team. This is a critical role accountable for the effective, efficient, and scalable delivery of operational services. You will ensure teams, systems, and processes are aligned to both current and future business needs, ultimately driving speed, certainty, and transformation across the organization. As a senior leader, you will provide strong operational direction, embed industry best practices, and drive continuous improvement, all while protecting a distinctive, supportive team culture and enabling sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities • Operational Performance: Own and lead day-to-day operations, ensuring service levels (SLAs), productivity metrics (KPIs), quality standards, and customer outcomes are consistently achieved., • Strategic Translation: Translate broad business strategy into clear, actionable operational plans, priorities, and performance measures., • Governance & Oversight: Establish effective governance frameworks, reporting rhythms, and performance oversight to rigorously track delivery, risks, and outcomes., • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and develop high-performing operational teams, establishing clear accountability, capability building, and robust succession planning., • Continuous Improvement: Drive process transformation across systems and ways of working, prioritizing scalability, efficiency, automation, and risk mitigation., • Financial Acumen: Partner closely with Finance and senior stakeholders to manage operational budgets, control costs, and deliver maximum value., • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Embed a customer-first mindset across operations and build strong, collaborative relationships across Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, and HR. About You You are a pragmatic, people-focused, and results-driven operational leader with a proven track record in complex, service-led environments. You bring the confidence to champion change, lead cross-functional initiatives, and make data-informed decisions. Required Experience & Skills: • Senior Leadership: Proven track record in a senior operational leadership role, ideally within a high-volume, service-led, or regulated environment., • Performance Management: Hands-on experience owning and delivering against strict SLAs, KPIs, and quality customer outcomes., • Change & Transformation: Demonstrated experience leading process improvement, automation, or large-scale change initiatives., • Commercial Acumen: Strong financial literacy, including budget planning, forecasting, and cost management., • People First: Exceptional ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams while modeling inclusive, values-led leadership., • Stakeholder Management: Highly developed communication skills with a knack for working cross-functionally across complex organizational structures., • Industry Sector (Highly Desirable): Experience within conveyancing, property, or adjacent professional services sectors is highly advantageous, alongside strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.     Join Team Ortel as a Door to Door Field Sales Executive selling EE & BT Group Broadband Products £40,000–£60,000+ OTE | Up to £28k Base Salary | Uncapped Commission + additional bonus and incentives Earn big with flexible working options selling award winning home broadband products. We’re expanding and looking for confident, target-driven individuals to sell EE & BT broadband door-to-door in residential areas. This high-performance field sales role offers strong earning potential. • Including a basic salary (hourly paid) + uncapped commission, • Realistic OTE £40,000–£60,000+ (our top performers earn more!), • Minimum 16 paid hours per week initially, increasing up to 37.5 hours based on performance., • Experienced door-to-door salespeople may be offered full-time positions (37.5 hours) starting on day one., • Permanent role., • Immediate start available. The Role: • Door-to-door residential sales, • Promote and sell EE & BT Home Broadband products, • Hit targets and maximise earnings Commission & Bonus Structure: • Earn commission on EVERY SALE from your first sale., • Higher value products = higher commission Threshold: • 15 net sales per month required to unlock commission, • Once achieved, commission is paid on all sales (1–15+) Bonuses: • 20+ sales = additional bonus, • Example: 28 sales = +£500 | 38 sales = +£1,000, • Quarterly bonus for consistent performance Quality: • We will monitor and address high cancellation rates in line with company policies., • We actively encourage upselling our product range based solely on customer needs; this is monitored both internally by our compliance team and externally through NPS metrics. We’re looking for: • 18+ and eligible to work in the UK, • Confident, resilient, target-driven, • Comfortable working outdoors, • Driving licence preferred (not essential), • Door to Door Sales experience is beneficial, but attitude is key.
