Sales Manager Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Office-based) Salary: £55,000 depending on skills, knowledge and experience. About the Role The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective account management, strategic business development, and leadership of the sales function across both domestic and export markets. The role will focus on strengthening customer relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities, and supporting the continued growth of the business both in the UK and internationally. The position will also involve occasional domestic and international travel, including attendance at trade shows and customer meetings. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets across UK and export markets., • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and market engagement., • Support the development of new export markets and sales channels, ensuring compliance with relevant trade and export regulations., • Work alongside the Marketing Manager to develop both brand and specific market awareness and marketing campaigns. Reporting & Collaboration • Prepare reports, information and analysis for Senior Management when required., • Work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure aligned and effective customer engagement. Travel & Events • Hold meetings, visit trade shows and industry events both domestically and internationally as and when the business requires you to. Skills & Experience Essential • Demonstrated experience overseeing, managing, or leading a sales team., • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills., • Commercially astute with a results-driven mindset., • Willingness and flexibility to travel as required. Desirable • Experience within Jaguar and Land Rover automotive industry, • Knowledge of export processes, distributors, or international trade environments.
