We're looking for an Accommodation Advisor to join the team- someone with a rare mix of compassion, resilience, organisation and flexibility. This is for the person who understands that rehabilitation isn't just about offering advice; it's about rolling up your sleeves and proactively supporting individuals on their journey towards securing stable accommodation and rebuilding their lives. About the Role: You will be based from the prison with some cover across probation offices and will work with a caseload of individuals to provide advice and support relevant to their housing needs. You'll carry out initial assessments to understand needs and agree an action plan. This may include support to end/sustain a tenancy, find accommodation or basic budgeting advice. Whilst we don't provide accommodation, we work with organisations that do, and nurturing these relationships is key in this role. You'll travel between sites, meeting people where they are, so no day will be the same and the ability to travel is essential. What You'll Be Doing: Collaborating with key partners: You'll work alongside probation and other stakeholders to secure housing solutions i.e local authorities, housing strategy teams and landlords.
