ROLE: Multi-Trade Operative LOCATION: Leicester HOURS: Full-Time | Permanent SALARY: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum (with excellent earning potential above basic salary) Frontline Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and reliable Multi-Trade Operative to join a growing team based in Leicester. Working primarily within the social housing sector, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to carry out a variety of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment works across occupied and void properties while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. BENEFITS • Competitive salary of £30,000–£35,000 per annum, • Permanent, full-time position, • Excellent opportunities to increase earnings above basic salary, • Long-term career stability, • Supportive and professional working environment, • Opportunity to work across a varied range of maintenance and refurbishment projects, • Immediate interviews available THE ROLE • Carrying out mould treatment and prevention works within occupied properties., • Completing full bathroom installations, including plumbing, tiling, and finishing works., • Undertaking kitchen installations, including fitting units, worktops, and associated trade work., • Refurbishing void properties to meet lettable standards., • Carrying out painting and decorating to a high standard., • Completing general multi-trade repairs, including:, • Basic carpentry, • Plumbing, • Patch plastering, • Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues efficiently and effectively., • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations., • Maintaining clean, safe, and organised work areas., • Providing excellent customer service while communicating professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues. THE REQUIREMENTS • Previous experience as a Multi-Trade Operative within the social housing sector or a similar environment., • Strong practical skills across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and decorating., • Experience carrying out mould treatment and damp-related repairs (desirable)., • Ability to work independently and effectively manage workloads., • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail., • Strong customer service and communication skills., • Full UK driving licence (essential)., • Reliable, proactive, and capable of delivering work to a consistently high standard.
