The Role You will support the Registered Manager in establishing the home, leading staff, and delivering trauma-informed, relational care. Why Join Us? • Salary £40,000-£50,000, • On-call allowance £100/week, • Clear progression to Registered Manager, • Retention bonus £1,000/year, • Ofsted performance bonus, • KPI bonus £500, • Free meals on shift, • Monthly and annual recognition awards, • Level 5 funded if needed _ Job Description Job Title: Deputy Registered Manager Responsible to: Registered Manager Application: CV + Cover Letter to Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management • Support the RM in day-to-day operations, • Lead, supervise, and mentor staff, • Promote trauma-informed relational care Quality of Care • Oversee care planning and risk assessments, • Monitor children's progress and outcomes, • Promote education, health and wellbeing Compliance & Ofsted • Maintain regulatory compliance, • Prepare documentation and audits, • Support inspections Safeguarding • Act as Deputy DSL, • Respond to incidents, concerns and missing episodes Team Development • Conduct supervisions and promote reflective practice, • Oversee training compliance and new staff induction Operational Duties • Rota planning and team organisation, • Participate in on-call rota (£100/week) Person Specification Essential • 2+ years senior experience in children's residential care, • Level 3 qualification (Level 5 funded if needed), • Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, • Excellent communication and leadership skills, • Emotional maturity, resilience, and reliability Desirable • Level 5 Leadership & Management, • Experience supporting Ofsted inspections, • Experience in opening new homes Safer Recruitment Statement Love Grove House is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
