Position Overview: GM Performance Power Units is seeking a strategic and innovative Business Intelligence Lead to drive the integration of cutting-edge BI solutions within the finance organization. This role will harness data analytics, automation, and BI platforms to deliver actionable financial insights, optimize processes, and empower strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely across finance, IT, engineering, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and impactful reporting. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership in Business Analytics • Develop and execute a BI strategy aligned with the organization’s financial goals, prioritizing initiatives that deliver measurable value, • Partner with finance stakeholders to identify analytics and automation opportunities that enhance financial performance, • Serve as the primary liaison between finance, business units, and technology teams on BI, data governance, and reporting solutions, • Establish and maintain data governance policies specific to finance, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, • Represent finance in broader organizational data governance and strategy discussions, • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools tracking key financial metrics such as EBIT, cash flow, ROI, and KPIs, • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across BI platforms, • Oversee data management practices including governance, quality assurance, and integration, • Lead the full dashboard lifecycle from requirements gathering to user acceptance and deployment, • Monitor data quality and dashboard engagement, driving continuous improvement and optimization, • Deliver insights on financial trends, variance analysis, and forecasting through data-driven techniques, • Support strategic planning and predictive modeling efforts, • Recruit, develop, and retain top data and analytics talent, fostering a high-performance team culture, • Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to team members, • Define best practices for finance BI processes, data governance, and reporting standards, • Manage delivery of finance BI projects ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met, • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView, • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, including Excel and SQL, • Experience with data warehousing platforms and ERP system integration (SAP, Oracle, or similar), • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data clearly, • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills tailored for finance and executive audiences, • A key leadership role shaping the future of data-driven finance in a high-performance motorsports organization, • Access to world-class BI tools, collaborative teams, and innovative technologies, • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits
