Neuropsychologist – Acquired Brain Injury Location: Horsham Rate: £55 per hour (Umbrella) Contract Length: Block booking, approximately 8–12 weeks Working Pattern: Office hours – 8:00am–4:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm Attendance: 2 days per week (flexible – any weekdays) Seven Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Neuropsychologist to support adults with acquired brain injury within a specialist neurorehabilitation service in Horsham. This flexible locum opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate, consistent block booking, and the chance to work within an established neurobehavioural rehabilitation model. This role is well suited to a HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist (Neuropsychology) with experience delivering assessment, formulation, and intervention in brain injury services. The Role You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing specialist neuropsychological assessment and intervention to adults with acquired brain injury. You will support the delivery of the neurobehavioural model of rehabilitation, working closely with service users, families, and professionals to promote recovery, independence, and positive behavioural outcomes. Key Responsibilities Neuropsychological Practice • Complete specialist neuropsychological assessments for adults with acquired brain injury, • Conduct pre-admission assessments and develop holistic neurobehavioural formulations, • Support the development and delivery of SMART rehabilitation goals, • Deliver evidence-based neuropsychological interventions, including individual, family, and group work, • Provide specialist neuropsychological input to multi-disciplinary care planning, • Undertake risk assessment and risk management, advising the wider MDT, • Act as keyworker or clinical lead for allocated service users where appropriate, • Participate in MDT meetings and provide expert neuropsychological perspectives, • Liaise with internal teams, external professionals, families, and carers, • Support service development initiatives and agreed project work, • Apply and promote evidence-based neuropsychology practice, • Support audits, outcome measurement, and service evaluation, • Contribute to agreed research activity related to acquired brain injury, • Provide consultation and advice to colleagues and carers, • Support learning and development across the wider MDT, • Ability to manage a complex and varied caseload, • Confidence working with challenging behaviour associated with brain injury, • Willingness to support individuals with mobility or personal care needs when required, • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with Neuropsychology, • Experience working with adults with acquired brain injury, • Strong skills in neuropsychological assessment, formulation, and intervention, • Experience working within multi-disciplinary rehabilitation teams, • Excellent communication, report-writing, and clinical reasoning skills Join Seven Resourcing and benefit from over a decade of expertise in connecting professionals with exciting career opportunities.
