Harness the power of artificial intelligence to improve our fundraising, marketing, and student engagement systems. You’ll work on practical projects that make a real impact — setting up simple automations, chatbots, or dashboards that save time and strengthen communication across programmes. What difference will you make? This role has the potential to transform the way our charity operates and significantly increase the impact we can make for young people, families, and the wider community. London Rangers FC and New Level Academy are small organisations with a big mission to support marginalised young people through education, football, mentoring, and practical opportunities that help them build confidence and move toward employment or further study. Our staff work incredibly hard, but as a small team with limited funding, much of our time is absorbed by manual administration, repetitive tasks, and resource constraints that restrict how much we can grow. By helping us introduce simple, practical AI tools, this volunteer will free up staff time that can be redirected toward the work that matters most — engaging students, supporting families, building partnerships, and improving our programmes. Even small improvements, such as automating follow-up emails or streamlining our communication systems, can save hours each week across different parts of the organisation. Over a few months, this can translate into dozens of hours redirected toward direct support for young people. The volunteer’s work will also help us strengthen our fundraising capacity. Successful fundraising relies on timely communication, relationship management, and staying on top of multiple grant deadlines — all areas where automation can make a huge difference. By helping us track opportunities, prepare communications, or organise data more efficiently, the volunteer will directly contribute to securing more funding for education, sports programmes, and community projects. In our school and youth programmes, AI tools can also play a role in supporting students’ employability skills. Automated CV templates, AI-assisted interview practice tools, and guided writing prompts can all enhance the support we offer our young people, many of whom struggle with confidence, writing skills, or communicating their strengths. By helping us set up systems that staff can use long after the volunteer’s work is complete, the volunteer ensures lasting benefits for future cohorts of students. Ultimately, this role strengthens our charity’s sustainability. By building simple, manageable AI systems and training staff to use them, the volunteer creates long-term operational improvements rather than one-off fixes. This will allow us to grow our programmes, reach more young people, and focus our limited resources on the areas where we can make the greatest difference. Your contribution will directly help us improve lives, expand opportunities, and build a more efficient, resilient organisation serving West London’s young people. What are we looking for?
