Press Brake Operator | Basingstoke | £14ph + £3.50 shift allowance\n \nAre you an experienced Press Brake Operator looking for a night-shift role within Manufacturing and Fabrication?\n\nThis Press Brake Operator position offers structured hours, clear processes and a strong focus on quality and safety.\n\nIf you thrive in a fast-paced production environment and enjoy hands-on technical work, this Press Brake Operator opportunity could be ideal.\n \nAs a Press Brake Operator, you will benefit from:\n\nConsistent night-shift working with a clearly defined routine\nA structured role within a just-in-time Fabrication environment\nClear setup documentation with supervisor support available when required\nOpportunities to develop cross-functional skills across fabrication processes\nA safety-focused workplace with established standards and procedures\nAutonomy to manage workload while meeting quality and production targets\nAs a Press Brake Operator, your responsibilities will include:\n\nSetting up and operating CNC-controlled hydraulic press brakes for routine production work\nSelecting, loading and setting tooling using setup documents and supervisor guidance\nProducing components to agreed quality and time standards\nAccurately recording time and completed work using an online production system\nHandling materials and finished components using forklifts and overhead cranes\nSupporting basic fault-finding, quality reporting and operator-level preventative maintenance\nAs a Press Brake Operator, your experience will include:\n\nPrevious experience in Press Brake Operation or metal press forming\nBackground within a Manufacturing or Fabrication environment\nAbility to read and understand Engineering Drawings and shop documentation\nCompetence in basic dimensional measuring and shop maths\nForklift operation experience, with overhead crane use advantageous\nThis Press Brake Operator role is based in Basingstoke and operates on a night shift with the following hours:\n\n16:00 shift start\n18:15 to 18:30 first tea break\n21:30 to 22:00 unpaid lunch break\n00:00 to 00:15 second tea break\n02:00 shift finish\nThe role is carried out in a fast-paced industrial environment requiring full PPE, including hearing protection, eye protection and steel-toed footwear.\nIf you're ready to take the next step in your career as a Press Brake Operator, apply today with an up-to-date CV or call Ella Deeley at Rubicon for more information
