Salary This position offers a base pay range of $80,000 to $100,000 USD, with final compensation determined by relevant experience and qualifications. In addition, the role is eligible for a performance-based annual bonus up to 5% of base pay, contingent upon the achievement of both company-wide goals and individual performance objectives. Purpose of Position Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, in accordance with company policies as well as all relevant laws and regulations, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for fulfilling the functions described for this role. This position provides oversight to Installation Managers assigned to individual construction sites and directs installation teams to ensure project timelines are met. The Senior Project Manager is also accountable for promoting and maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant jobsite throughout all phases of installation, while offering guidance and leadership to installation staff. In addition, the role supports issue resolution, continuous process improvement initiatives, and supplies financial insights and operational support as requested by the Chief Operating Officer. Major Responsibilities of Position • Demonstrate leadership through best practices in workplace safety, workmanship, efficiency, cost control, and client satisfaction., • Uphold organizational policies and standards, addressing performance or conduct issues as needed in collaboration with Human Resources., • Train, guide, and support team members to perform installations safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality standards., • Ensure job sites are orderly, secure, and compliant with safety expectations at all times., • Manage coordination with external partners and vendors, including subcontractors, electrical contractors, surveyors, concrete providers, temporary labor, civil inspectors, and utility notification services., • Support workforce planning and scheduling for installation projects to align with project timelines., • Verify that installation staff receive proper training to deliver high-quality solar systems while maintaining safe work practices., • Confirm that the required tools, equipment, and materials are available to support uninterrupted and productive installations., • Record workplace incidents and complete all required documentation and reporting., • Participate in recruiting and staffing efforts to ensure adequate personnel coverage for scheduled installation activities., • Review project documentation to identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and process enhancements., • Ensure internal and client quality requirements are met and that supporting documentation is accurately maintained., • Foster positive working relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers,and internally with the team., • Collaborate with the Purchasing team to procure materials on schedule and maintain appropriate inventory levels., • Encourage continuous improvement initiatives within installation teams., • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for resolving client or supplier concerns., • Plan and oversee routine maintenance for company-owned tools and equipment., • Responsibilities may evolve or be adjusted at any time based on business needs, with or without prior notice. Personal Attributes (Skills, Knowledge, Abilities) • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based work environment., • History of driving ongoing improvements in quality standards, operational efficiency, workplace safety, and site organization., • Working knowledge of job-specific tools and equipment, with the capability to safely operate both company-owned and rented machinery., • Strong leadership presence with well-developed analytical, organizational, and communication skills., • Extensive experience coaching, mentoring, and evaluating team members to drive accountability, performance, and professional growth., • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines., • Required to maintain a valid and appropriate driver’s license, including CDL eligibility, as a condition of employment., • Physically capable of performing job duties that require full upper- and lower-body mobility and the ability to work in varied postures and environments, such as standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and similar activities for extended durations., • Required:, • Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in construction management, • 5+ years of Construction management experience, • Valid State Driver's License, • MIOSHA 30 Certification-Training and fee assistance is available, • 3 professional references, • Preferred:, • Master’s degree in construction management, • North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) certification-Training and fee assistance is available, • Ability/desire to obtain CDL certification, • 2-3 years of experience with electrical systems, • In an office environment 25-50% of the time, with potential staff needs causing interruptions, ability to multitask is expected.
