Bluesky Daycare Center is currently seeking a passionate and ambitious Educational Director with strong leadership and supervisory skills, to join our team. OUR EDUCATIONAL DIRECTOR WILL: • Understand and implement the current curriculum, ensuring our two daycare locations meet all educational goals., • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships with teachers and parents., • Conducting formal and informal teacher observations, staff training and supervising staff on child care programs., • Overseeing student assessments., • Conducting staff training., • Manage daily operations, including funding and ensuring all policy and procedures are met., • Supervision of students and staff. EDUCATIONAL DIRECTOR QUALIFICATIONS: • A Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field of study approved by the department, • Must hold a NY State Teaching Certificate Birth-2nd, • Must be Fingerprinted by IdentoGo, • Must have 2 years of teaching experience AND 1-2 years of supervisory experience in an early childhood setting, • Proof of SCR clearance, • Must be willing to undergo BLA Clearance, • Corresponding training certificates We offer benefits after 90days probation • Paid time leave, • Holiday pay, • Discounted Child Care
