Job DescriptionSales Representative - Employee Benefits Job Summary We are looking for a self-motivated, goal-oriented, and high-achieving Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, persistent, and thrive in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment. Preference will be given to professionals with recent and successful sales experience in Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, and COBRA administration services, or in the employee benefits brokerage industry. Required Skills * Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * Strong negotiation and closing abilities. * Customer-focused with strong active listening skills. * Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales role. * Familiarity with various sales techniques. * Proficient in computer usage. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems. * Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. * High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in business or marketing, or a related field, is preferred. Duties * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals, including periodic face-to-face meetings with brokers and clients. * Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with brokers and clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. * Develop relationships with the existing client base while seeking business through broker engagement. * Present and demonstrate services to potential customers, clearly communicating the value of solutions, including features and benefits. * Negotiate and close sales agreements to meet or exceed revenue goals. * Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and customer interactions using CRM software. * Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations) to ensure that broker and client needs are met. * Stay up to date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity. * Attend trade shows, conferences, or industry events as needed to promote products and services, when requested. * Travel every quarter. * Adhere to all company policies related to privacy and security. * Work overtime as required. * Perform other duties as assigned by management.
