Job DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on industrial production equipment, including molding systems, auxiliary equipment, electrical systems, and facility HVAC. Responsibilities • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility systems., • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues using schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation., • Repair or replace motors, sensors, pumps, valves, HMIs, and other components., • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on injection molding machines and associated auxiliary equipment., • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, sensors, relays, and AC/DC drives., • Diagnose mechanical failures involving hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, and drive systems., • Support troubleshooting of PLC-controlled equipment (basic fault tracing and component replacement)., • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical manuals., • Maintain and repair HVAC and facility support systems as needed., • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat failures., • Document maintenance activities and work orders in SAP., • Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to improve equipment uptime and reliability., • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, reliability, and process stability., • Follow OSHA and company safety standards including LOTO procedures.Essential Skills, • Electrical diagnostics (120V–480V systems), • Hydraulics and pneumatics troubleshooting, • Mechanical systems repair (bearings, belts, couplings, alignment), • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, • 2+ years experience working on molding machinesAdditional Skills & Qualifications, • High School Diploma/GED, Technical School, or Military Experience, • Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or clinical manufacturing, • Familiarity with automation, PLCs, and HMI systems, • Knowledge of GMP, CAPA, and quality systems, • Technical certifications (HVAC, electrical, mechatronics, etc.), • Experience interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and work orders, • Familiarity with testing/measuring devices and hand tools, • Understanding of electromechanical principles and functions Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
