Job Description The Nurse Lawyer is a team led by the only board-certified civil trial lawyer and registered nurse in the state of Florida. If you are the accountant/bookkeeper we are looking for, you will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, be positive, enthusiastic, a team player, hardworking and efficient. You will have 5+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience. Some duties include tracking expenses, processing invoices, reviewing closing statements, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports. Having the ability to manage financial data in various databases, experience with QuickBooks, and Excel is a must. A bachelor’s degree in accounting is also required. If you are the attorney we are looking for: • You will have at least 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation or insurance defense., • You must have trial experience., • You will be detail oriented, driven, good under pressure, dedicated, and a team player., • You will be described as hardworking, humble, enthusiastic, excellent with client communication, and compassionate., • You will be responsible for the smooth and effective management of your own case load, with the help of paralegals and legal assistants., • You will have the opportunity to handle your own cases through all phases of the pre-litigation as well as the litigation process. If you are the experienced scheduling assistant we are looking for, you’ll be self-motivated, positive, enthusiastic, a team player, hardworking, detailed-oriented, and efficient. You will have 2+ years of experience as a scheduling assistant. You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate and up to date calendar for 5+ attorneys.
