The Wine Education Associate is a detail oriented and thorough individual who coordinates and facilitates all Wine Education activations. Working closely with a small team of Wine Educators to ensure that the needs of our sales team, wholesale trade partners and internal partners are met in a timely and professional manner, the Associate has a strong work ethic and is comfortable working independently and with multiple teams and individuals to accomplish the tasks. This position will be based at our West Los Angeles office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday. Job Description Event Logistics & Planning • Be point of contact for all Trade VIP guest, assisting with all aspects of their visit, as needed., • Plan and coordinate VIP/Trade visits to all winery properties, • Plan and coordinate in-market Educator visits, • Plan and coordinate internal education activations, • Coordinate with Sales, Reservations, Hospitality, etc. to ensure seamless events, • Order and manage all educational collateral for specific events and activations, • Own calendar-based project management system (ClickUp), • Maintain accurate Education Team calendar, including all events, travel, etc., • Input all Education Team engagements in Wines Shared Calendar (ClickUp), • Proactively seek opportunities for Education Team activations, • Represent the wineries as a brand ambassador at events (on-site/off-site), • Use storytelling and wine knowledge to excite and engage customers, • Deliver passionate and engaging presentations, • Update education decks and presentations in line with brand standards, • Build and maintain reports outlining team’s impact (visitation, sales, velocity, etc.), • Input relevant data into CRM (within 72 hours of event)Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role is detail oriented with a demonstrated history of project management and/or executive assistance, with the ability to work independently and in tandem with various departments to ensure the growth and success of our wine brands. Candidates should have an appetite for growth within our company, especially within Trade/Brand Marketing. • 1-2 years of professional experience in related sales, marketing or communication role., • Proven ability to manage complex logistics, including travel arrangements, vendor coordination, and multi-department collaboration., • Strong organizational skills with experience building and maintaining calendar or project management systems., • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the brand to VIPs, trade partners, and key stakeholders., • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field; OR 3+ years of relevant work experience. (wine/spirits industry experience preferred.), • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Monday.com)., • Proficiency with Booking Software/CRM (e.g. TOCK, KARMA, Checkfront, etc.), • Creative eye for content and presentation design, ensuring alignment with brand standards, • Demonstrated ability to deliver elevated guest experiences and anticipate client needs, • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, • Flexible, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership We believe that providing ‘Best in Class” education is fundamental to our growth strategy as at Wonderful Wines.
