    Job Summary The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, organizing, and maintaining information in company databases, spreadsheets, and computer systems. This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and the ability to handle confidential information. Key Responsibilities • Enter, update, and maintain data accurately in databases, spreadsheets, and internal computer systems., • Review documents and source information for completeness, accuracy, and consistency., • Verify entered data and identify and correct errors or discrepancies., • Organize and maintain electronic and physical records and files., • Process invoices, forms, reports, applications, customer records, or other business documents as assigned., • Transfer information from paper documents, emails, PDFs, forms, and other sources into company systems., • Perform regular data quality checks and resolve missing, duplicate, or incorrect information., • Maintain accurate records and ensure information is properly categorized and stored., • Retrieve and provide information from databases and files when requested by authorized employees., • Handle confidential and sensitive company, customer, employee, or financial information appropriately., • Follow company procedures and data-entry standards to maintain consistency and accuracy., • Assist with scanning, filing, document management, and record retention., • Prepare basic reports, spreadsheets, lists, and summaries using collected data., • Communicate with supervisors, coworkers, customers, vendors, or other departments when clarification of information is required., • Meet established productivity, accuracy, and turnaround-time goals., • Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed., • Perform routine data cleanup, database updates, and record reconciliation., • Follow all company policies regarding privacy, confidentiality, security, and proper handling of information. Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent preferred., • Previous data entry, administrative, clerical, office, or customer service experience preferred., • Strong computer and keyboarding skills., • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word., • Ability to accurately enter information at a consistent speed., • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors., • Excellent organizational and time-management skills., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information., • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
