Job Description Recruiting Coordinator for a 2-office law firm. Join this well-run law firm and provide your HR expertise! SUMMARY: as the firm’s Recruiting Coordinator, will assist the Recruiting & Human Resources Manager and Members with all aspects of lateral attorney, fall associate, summer associate, and support staff recruiting. This hybrid work position is in our Washington, DC office. This is an exempt position. BENEFITS: up to 4 weeks’ vacation, paid employee benefits, transportation allowance, bonus and more! ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Partner with Recruiting & HR Manager to plan and coordinate all aspects of 1L, 2L, 3L, lateral attorney, and support staff recruiting. • Manage summer associate, lateral attorney, and support staff job postings., • Assist with law school and summer associate recruiting, including planning on-campus events, and coordinating interviews. • Help manage the summer associate program, including onboarding, training, event logistics, and communication. • Maintain the recruiting database, including candidate data entry, interview scheduling, and tracking of lateral attorneys, summer associates, and support staff. • Assist in preparation of NALP surveys and Flo Recruit listings., • Help prepare and distribute materials for Recruiting Committee meetings., • Coordinate onboarding process of lateral attorneys, fall associates, summer associates, and support staff; and • Perform additional projects as assigned by the Recruiting & Human Resources Manager and Members. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of law firm recruiting experience., • Ability to effectively communicate and work with people at all levels., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills., • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently., • Ability to meet deadlines, work well under pressure, and in a team-oriented environment., • Commitment to excellence and high standards., • Proficient on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.); and, • Experience with HRIS databases (e.g., ADP, viRecruit, Flo Recruit, Symplicity, etc). HOURS: Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including one hour for lunch. Must be flexible to work additional hours and travel occasionally. LOCATION & WORK SCHEDULE: Washington, DC Office. Hybrid – 3 days in-office; 2 days remote.
