Positions Summary: As a key member of the Customer Operations Leadership Team, the Senior Director, Sales & Analytics will report to the Vice President, Customer Operations and will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution for the Sales team through data driven decision making with a focus on optimizing the Sales teams including implementing strategies to improve operational efficiencies while improving sales conversion and sales effectiveness. This individual will use strong data and analytical skills to identify opportunities to best position the sales team for success including identifying Product/Tech needs, recommending system optimizations, and performance managing the team based on KPIs. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has a strong Operational and Sales track record of success which is tied to a background in data, analytics or Finance in order to connect the operational performance to outcomes that tie to company performance. This role is based in Naperville, IL office. A regular in-office hybrid model (generally T-Th in office, M&F remote) is required, as our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Lead Sales and Retention teams of 150 agents, including onshore and BPO., • Develop and implement operational strategies to support Sales and Retention teams., • Create KPIs, metrics and regular reporting to identify top opportunities to improve sales performance and monitor changes., • Partner with Product and Technology teams to ensure agents have tools and technology to deliver a best-in-class experience to customers., • Lead & mentor team members to evaluate sales performance focusing on conversion and revenue per customer., • Coordinate with Marketing, Finance and other teams to align Sales incentives with company KPIs and ensure sales execution is aligned with company priorities., • Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies., • Own regular performance reports to Executive team – in the form of weekly and monthly business reviews., • Lead the team to deliver actionable and insightful analyses to the leadership team that results in clear project plans and initiatives to drive measurable results., • Develop and implement new reporting tools and dashboards, while guiding process documentation and redesign efforts. Experience and Qualifications of the Role • 8+ years leading sales and/or sales operations including Employee and BPO., • 5+ years experience working within data, analytics, Finance or consulting roles., • 5+ years of direct people management experience with a track record of consistently recognizing and rewarding excellent performance and addressing performance issues head-on, without delay., • Known as a proactive, strategically thinking leader who also knows how to roll up her/his sleeves to execute getting the work done., • Has a track record of taking the initiative without being asked in a way that delivers above expectations, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think creatively., • Self-starter with the ability to multitask and work effectively in a dynamic environment with fluctuating workload and aggressive timelines while promptly. delivering timely and accurate analysis., • Exceptional strategic acumen, problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and trust through honesty, integrity, and authenticity., • Able to be accountable for making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward., • Effective Project Management skills with the ability to grasp the bigger picture and develop processes to achieve desired results. Computer Skills Needed to Perform the Job • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel is required, • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations or related field or equivalent experience required. The base pay range for this position is $184,875 - $273,750 USD Annual. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target.
