The Compliance and Operations Administrator plays a pivotal role in maintaining regulatory integrity and operational efficiency within a licensed cannabis facility. This position is responsible for the accurate entry and management of compliance data through seed-to-sale systems such as METRC and Flourish, ensuring all inventory tracking, product movement, labeling, and reporting adhere to applicable state cannabis regulations. Working under the guidance of the Production Manager, this role supports the full lifecycle of cannabis product tracking while managing essential administrative workflows that keep the facility audit-ready and running smoothly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, systems-savvy, and passionate about driving compliance in a rapidly evolving, highly regulated industry. Essential Functions and Responsibilities \t • Manage and maintain real-time data accuracy in METRC and Flourish, including product intake, packaging, transfers, and waste. \t, • Ensure compliance with state cannabis regulatory requirements, including accurate labeling, manifest generation, and transfer protocols. \t, • Perform routine and cycle-count inventory reconciliations, flagging and resolving discrepancies swiftly to ensure full traceability and data integrity. \t, • Generate and apply compliant METRC tags and labels according to batch, strain, product type, and packaging specifications. \t, • Assist with preparing required reports and submissions to cannabis regulatory agencies (e.g., CRA, OCM, CCC, etc. depending on state). \t, • Maintain meticulous digital and physical records for all compliance documentation, logs, and audit trails. \t, • Collaborate closely with cultivation, processing, packaging, and retail/wholesale teams to ensure compliant movement of cannabis material throughout the supply chain. \t, • Support operational administrative tasks including scheduling, document control, supply ordering, and cross-departmental coordination. \t, • Act as an internal resource for regulatory inquiries, compliance guidance, and audit preparedness. \t, • Monitor regulatory updates and assist in implementing necessary changes to SOPs and workflows in response to evolving cannabis laws and best practices. \t, • Support internal audits and assist with external inspections from state and local regulators. \t, • Proactively identify potential compliance risks or process gaps and escalate issues to leadership. \t, • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Compliance, or a related field preferred \t, • At least three (3)+ years of experience in administrative, compliance, or inventory-related roles (cannabis industry experience is a plus \t, • Familiarity with METRC and/or Flourish or other seed-to-sale inventory tracking systems strongly preferred \t, • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills \t, • Basic understanding of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements, or willingness to learn \t, • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software tools \t, • Strong written and verbal communication skills \t, • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team \t, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment \t, • Must be at least 21 years of age \t, • Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state cannabis regulations \t, • Experience working with cannabis industry compliance platforms such as METRC and/or Flourish (preferred) \t, • Prior experience conducting inventory counts, reconciliations, or audits \t, • Experience handling data entry and maintaining accurate records in a highly regulated environment \t, • Familiarity with state and local cannabis regulations (preferred, or willingness to learn) \t, • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing setting \t, • Background in navigating fast-paced, deadline-driven work environments with shifting priorities \t, • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data with integrity #ENGHP
