Why Work at LeafSpring Schools? • Paid time off and holidays, including your birthday!, • Work-life balance is a priority: no evening or weekend shifts., • Heavily discounted tuition and free access to the Get Well Place for your own child when ill, • Paid training and continuing education opportunities, • Tuition reimbursement for professional development, • Meals available daily Key Responsibilities • Support daily routines including circle time, story time, snack, outdoor play, and rest time, • Assist with lesson planning and curriculum implementation based on childrens developmental needs and interests, • Supervise children during classroom transitions, group play, and hands-on activities, • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment aligned with state licensing regulations, • Encourage independence, self-help skills, and social interaction through positive guidance strategies, • Observe and document childrens behavior and milestones for communication with families and the teaching team, • Provide age-appropriate support for infants or toddlers depending on assigned classroom, • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive, inclusive early childhood learning environmentQualifications, • Previous experience in child care, preschool, daycare, or toddler education, • Understanding of child development principles and developmentally appropriate practices (DAP), • Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children, • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, • Ability to multitask, follow classroom structure, and adapt to childrens needs, • High school diploma or GED requiredFamily Communication & School Collaboration, • Maintain open communication with families through daily updates, progress reports, and scheduled conferences, • Support and attend family engagement events, parent education sessions, and school celebrations, • Collaborate with school administrators and fellow teachers to ensure alignment with school goals and state licensing standardsQualifications, • Minimum 6 months of classroom experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center, • Proven ability to lead classroom activities and routines with confidence and consistency, • Strong knowledge of child development, learning domains, and early intervention best practices, • Effective communication skills with children, families, and co-workers, • A love for young children and a commitment to their growth and well-beingPreferred Experience, • Familiarity with curriculum models such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori is preferred, as our proprietary curriculum incorporates elements from both approaches., • Knowledge of state child care licensing regulations and quality standards, • Background in inclusive education, sensory integration, or differentiated instruction is a plus
