Job Description Senior Credentialing Coordinator Location Irving, TX | Onsite Compensation & Schedule • $29.85 – $31.98 per hour, • Monday – Friday, Full-Time, • W2. Temp to Hire, • Start date: ASAP Role Impact The Senior Credentialing Coordinator ensures the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of the medical staff credentialing program. This role safeguards regulatory readiness by verifying provider qualifications, managing appointment and reappointment cycles, and maintaining audit-ready documentation. Success is defined by timely credentialing outcomes, zero compliance gaps, and strong collaboration with clinical leadership and administrative teams. Key Responsibilities • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies (e.g., Joint Commission, NCQA, CMS), • Oversee primary source verification of education, training, licensure, certifications, and clinical privileges, • Manage initial appointments, reappointments, privileging, and onboarding for medical staff, • Prepare reports, accreditation materials, meeting minutes, and leadership presentations, • Maintain credentialing databases, tracking systems, timelines, and documentation workflows Required Qualifications • High School Diploma required, • 5+ years of medical staff credentialing experience, • Experience managing full credentialing lifecycle, including primary source verification and reappointments, • Strong knowledge of regulatory and accrediting standards (Joint Commission, NCQA, CMS), • Must reside within 30 miles of Irving, TX, • Demonstrated job stability (minimum 1 year at previous roles) Clinical Skill Set • Primary source verification and compliance auditing, • Medical staff bylaws and regulatory standards interpretation, • Credentialing database management and document control systems, • Accreditation survey preparation and documentation review, • Onboarding coordination for physicians and allied health professionals, • Committee coordination, agenda preparation, and meeting facilitation, • Records management, reporting, and data integrity oversight Preferred Skills • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities, • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and exercise sound judgment Legal Notice Employment is contingent upon successful completion of an in-person interview, background check (criminal, education, and employment verification), drug screen, and clerical testing.
