Job Description We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Personal Banker opportunity with our banking client where your career truly matters. The Personal Banker is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Your specific duties will include: • Assist in overseeing the operational functions of the banking center and provide support to staff (e.g., answering questions, coaching, offering encouragement, feedback, and constructive criticism as needed)., • Perform required steps to process loan applications and customer-initiated financial transactions, open new accounts, and sell banking products and services., • Build and maintain relationships with clients to identify and meet their needs through the sale of financial products and services., • Generate sales leads through community outreach activities and develop business partnerships while strengthening internal relationships., • Assist clients with concerns or questions regarding their accounts. Explain service charges, statement issues, product features, etc., and work to resolve complex or sensitive customer matters., • Create workforce stability by cultivating an engaged and enthusiastic team through effective coaching on proper behaviors, sales techniques, service expectations, and compliance guidelines, while modeling those same behaviors., • Ensure the banking center’s audit and compliance procedures are followed while maintaining the highest level of customer service., • Banking experience., • Minimum of one year of successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relationship-based selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goals., • Minimum of six months of cash-handling experience in a retail sales environment., • Ability to generate referrals, including making on-site visits with local businesses., • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)., • Successful sales record in a retail banking environment, with knowledge of bank services and products. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
