Job DescriptionBilingual Regional Medical Assistant (Float)-Orlando, FL Travel within region 85% | ?? $21–$22/hour Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm | Temp-perm Position Objective: The Regional MA Float provides both clinical and administrative support to physicians, ensuring high-quality patient care and smooth clinic operations across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: • Travel to regional clinics to support providers with exams, treatments, and procedures, • Prepare patients and rooms, obtain medical histories, document in EMR, and record vitals, • Administer oral/injectable medications, assist with IV starts, wound care, suture/staple removal, diagnostic tests, and CLIA-waived labs, • Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and in-office testing (EKGs, glucose, PT/INR, pulse oximetry, etc.), • Handle front desk operations: phones, scheduling, check-in/out, referrals, prescription management, and patient inquiries, • Educate patients on procedures, treatments, and medications, • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA and OSHA, • Manage inventory, sterilize equipment, and order supplies/medications as needed, • Assist in onboarding/training new team members, • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required), • High school diploma or GED required; completion of accredited MA program preferred (CMA or RMA), • 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience, • CPR certification preferred; IV start and phlebotomy skills strongly preferred, • Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, medical terminology, and coding, • Strong computer skills (EMR, Google Suite, Microsoft Office), • Positive, team-oriented, and professional demeanor, • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • $21–$22/hour (depending on experience), • Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, • 401(k) with employer match, • Paid time off and holidays #LM TRINITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER See the great things people are saying by checking out our Google reviews, along with our Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter.Please visit theCareer Centeron our website for some helpful resources to help in your job search, to build a resume, for interview tips and many job opportunities! At least one year of clinical medical assisting experience required • Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician., • Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height., • Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies., • Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records., • Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients., • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean., • Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing., • Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician., • Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instruments or materials or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures., • Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses., • Greet and log in patients arriving at office or clinic., • Perform general office duties, such as answering telephones, taking dictation, or completing insurance forms., • Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician., • Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies., • Change dressings on wounds., • Schedule appointments for patients., • Inventory and order medical, lab, or office supplies or equipment., • Contact medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for tests or admission., • Operate x-ray, electrocardiogram (EKG), or other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests., • Set up medical laboratory equipment., • Keep financial records or perform other bookkeeping duties, such as handling credit or collections or mailing monthly statements to patients.
