Job Description Job Title: Outdoor Forklift Operator -1st Shift Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Forklift Operator and contribute to production and logistics operations. The role involves operating machinery and forklifts, maintaining production records, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities • Set up and operate machinery on the production line., • Stack pallets of bagged salt using a forklift., • Operate the bagging machine to fill and seal bags., • Shovel spilled salt outside as needed., • Load and unload flatbed trucks with a forklift., • Bag products efficiently., • Clean the work area daily., • Complete and report production paperwork accurately during and at the end of each shift., • Minimum of 3 years of experience with sit-down propane forklifts., • Proficiency in operating a forklift in outdoor and rough environments., • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment with an understanding of production metrics., • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions year-round., • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift., • Forklift certification is preferred., • Experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator is a plus.
