Job Description Textum OPCO, LLC is hiring a Warehouse Clerk for its textile manufacturing operation. Location: Belmont, NC Schedule: Full-time – 1st Shift We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, works well independently, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment. You will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production, and ensuring safe, efficient warehouse operations. Details of Responsibilities: • Wear required PPE and maintain a safe, compliant work environment., • Ensure trailers are properly chocked and maintain visual contact with drivers during loading and unloading., • Complete daily and weekly forklift inspection checklists and report issues promptly., • Inspect incoming materials for correct quantity and quality against packing slips or documentation., • Confirm incoming product weights and resolve discrepancies proactively., • Place received raw materials into inventory, print labels, and attach them accurately., • Stock warehouse inventory and complete all related inventory control documentation with accuracy and accountability., • Input and retrieve inventory information using the Syteline ERP system, ensuring data integrity., • Report and record inventory adjustments as needed., • Maintain accurate records of goods received, shipped, and loaded onto the CW trailer., • Issue, stage, and enter raw materials into the system for all shifts with minimal supervision., • Load looms by pulling raw materials from inventory and entering required data accurately into Syteline., • Collect and stage items to be returned to vendors, including bobbin trays, empty bobbins, pallets, and beams., • Pull goods from inventory and prepare them for shipment, including managing multiple shipments simultaneously while maintaining order integrity., • Confirm outgoing product weights., • Serve as final inspector for all finished products prior to shipping, verifying style, weight, packaging, labels, and required photos., • Load and unload trucks using a forklift or pallet jack in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner., • Demonstrate independence, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks., • Work cooperatively with all departments to support seamless customer service., • Seek opportunities to improve operations, reduce turnaround times, and streamline processes., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks, • Reliable, safety-focused work habits, • Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment, • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems, • Experience with forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus (training available), • Familiarity with ERP systems is helpful; Syteline experience preferred but not required Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED; or one year of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience., • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos., • Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively in one-on-one or small-group settings., • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using standard units of measure., • Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions., • Ability to solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations., • Certified or able to become certified to operate a fork truck safely; must maintain a valid Textum Forklift License., • Ability to work cooperatively with other employees in a team environment., • Ability to lift arms above shoulder level to stock or adjust shelves., • Strong time-management, organizational skills, and attention to detail., • Manual dexterity and the ability to handle materials safely and efficiently., • Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems (Syteline preferred)., • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl., • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds., • Must be able to remain on feet for the duration of the shift., • Must have adequate close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus., • Work is performed in a production/warehouse environment with loud noise levels., • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
