What You’ll Do: As a Distribution Center Team Member at ACR Supply Company, you play a critical role in ensuring the seamless movement of products through our supply chain. The Distribution Center Team Member receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products within the distribution center. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and commitment to ACR’s mission will directly impact our ACR stores and contractors who rely on us for fast, accurate service and, ultimately, the homeowners and businesses counting on functional heating and cooling systems. It is expected that the Distribution Center Team Member will work 40 hours per week in accordance to the standard department hours of 7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Key Responsibilities: • Warehouse Operations: Perform all warehouse duties to ensure the movement of material to, from, and within the distribution center is efficient, effective, and safe., • Order Fulfillment and Shipping: Pull store inventory, stock transfers, special orders, and will call. Manage customer delivery, pickup and truck schedule. Manage and execute third party shipping (UPS, LTL, Direct Link). Process E-Commerce sales and shipments. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department. File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area. Prepare parcels for mailing. Load trucks., • Receiving and Storage: Assist in the unloading of all materials into the receiving department and ensure materials are staged for counting and inspection. Open bales, crates, and other containers. Oversee receiving process in ERP system, ensure receiving reports accurately report material received, and resolve discrepancies regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports. Check in UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments. Unload trucks., • Inventory Management: Assist in counting of physical inventory. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code. Identify transfer discrepancies and make inventory adjustments as needed. Mark materials with identifying information according to appropriate procedure., • Impact on ACR Stores: Your accuracy and efficiency ensure that stores have the products they need, minimizing downtime and enabling them to serve our customers quickly., • Impact on our Customers: Your work helps contractors access critical tools and supplies without delays, allowing them to complete jobs on schedule and maintain their customers’ trust., • High School Diploma or equivalent, • Current and valid Drivers License with at least 1 year of driving experience, • No more than 3 moving traffic violations in the past 36 months., • 1 year experience working in a warehouse (preferred), • 1 year experience using inventory/ERP tracking software (preferred), • 1 year customer service experience (preferred), • 1 year experience using RF scanner (preferred), • 1 years paid experience driving a 26’ straight truck (preferred), • 1 year forklift experience (preferred), • CDL License/certification (preferred), • Hazmat Endorsement (preferred), • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, • Positive team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence, • Demonstrated ability to learn and use new technology, • Excellent customer service and communication skills, • Attention to detail, • Strong Critical Thinking skills and problem solving ability, • Excellent organizing, planning, and prioritization skills, • Strong active listening and social perceptiveness, • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint What You Can Look Forward To: Benefits & Perks (for eligible associates)! • Paid time off and Paid holidays off, • Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, • Supplemental insurance, • Volunteer paid time off, • AAA roadside assistance, • 401k program with company match, • Family fun days, • Personal and professional development and training
