We are seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the evolution of our engineering organization, driving both structural transformation and delivery excellence. This leader will be responsible for modernizing how teams operate, aligning engineering more closely with product and business outcomes, and ensuring scalable, predictable software delivery across the organization. What you’ll do • Redesign the engineering organization from system-aligned teams into cross-functional teams that co-own delivery outcomes alongside Product and Program Management, • Build engineer fungibility across the portfolio by developing talent strategies, internal mobility frameworks, and hiring practices that reduce over-specialization and single points of failure, • Own delivery excellence by establishing the processes, tooling, and operating rhythms that enable consistent, high-quality software delivery, • Set and communicate technical direction across teams, ensuring alignment with long-term platform and business strategy, • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Operations to translate technical tradeoffs into clear business impact, • Act as a visible and credible engineering leader across the organization, influencing strategic decisions beyond engineering, • Develop and scale engineering leadership by coaching and managing engineering managers and team leads What you bring • 8+ years of engineering leadership experience, with at least 3 years managing managers, • Proven track record of restructuring engineering organizations with measurable improvements in delivery predictability, velocity, and team cohesion, • Experience implementing and operating within cross-functional team models, • Strong organizational design and change management capabilities, • Sufficient technical depth to establish credibility with engineers and guide architectural decision-making, • Data-driven approach to delivery, including use of metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement Preferred but not required • Background in hosting, cloud infrastructure, or platform-based businesses, • Experience in B2B infrastructure, managed services, or SaaS environments, • Prior experience leading transformation initiatives in high-growth or scaling organizations Why Join Us?
