Complex Care Nurse (RGN) About the Role We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our Complex Care team. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to both children and adults with complex medical needs in community and home-based settings. The ideal candidate will be flexible, resilient, and committed to delivering person-centred care while travelling across the country to support patients and families. Key Responsibilities • Deliver specialist, high-quality nursing care to children and adults with complex health conditions, in line with individual care plans., • Undertake comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate interventions to ensure optimal outcomes., • Provide clinical expertise in areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilator support, enteral feeding, seizure management, and medication administration (as required)., • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to provide holistic care., • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with professional and legal standards., • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies for both adults and children., • Educate and support families and carers in managing complex conditions at home., • Travel nationally to deliver care and provide clinical support where needed., • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration., • Proven experience working with both children and adults in complex care or acute settings., • Strong clinical skills, ideally with training in tracheostomy, ventilation, PEG/NG feeding, and epilepsy management (training can be provided for the right candidate)., • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload across multiple locations., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centred approach., • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally., • Previous experience in community nursing or domiciliary complex care., • Paediatric nursing experience (RSCN or dual qualification desirable but not essential)., • Competitive salary and travel allowance., • Ongoing clinical training and professional development opportunities., • Supportive team environment with access to clinical supervision., • The opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with complex needs.
