    Chef – Luqa Be you. At work. We’re opening Luqa , a new restaurant at Eden Locke on George Street, Edinburgh, and we’re looking for a Sous Chef to join us at the beginning of our journey. Luqa is a new concept opening this autumn, with a simple approach to food: good, unfussy dishes with an Italian twist, served in a relaxed and welcoming space. We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of building something new. This is an opportunity to join early and have an influence on how Luqa develops. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week across 5 days . What you'll be doing Preparing and cooking food across our café, brunch and restaurant menus Supporting daily kitchen preparation and service Helping us maintain consistency and quality as the menu and concept develop Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food hygiene and health & safety standards Working closely with the wider Luqa and Eden Locke team to deliver a great guest experience Bringing ideas, curiosity and a willingness to help shape and improve what we do What we're looking for At least 1 year’s experience in a professional kitchen or similar hospitality role Someone who is confident working independently but also enjoys being part of a team A good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen standards Someone organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy environment Experience with pizza is desirable, but not essential Most importantly, someone who is enthusiastic about food and wants to be part of something new Why join Luqa?     CLUSTER CHIEF ENGINEER Locke Canary Wharf & Cove Pinnacle Landmark We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Chief Engineer to lead our two Canary Wharf propertie’s maintenance operations and help ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our guests. In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of the both hotel’s facilities, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards. You’ll lead and support our maintenance teams while working closely with external contractors to keep everything running smoothly. We’re seeking a proactive leader with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining high standards. THE STAGE IS SET The stage is set for something different. THE WORK IN YOUR HANDS Manage day-to-day maintenance operations across the both hotel properties Ensure all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, lifts, and mechanical systems) are maintained and fully operational Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities Plan and manage preventative maintenance schedules Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency repairs Supervise, train, and motivate maintenance staff Manage maintenance budgets, stock control, and ordering of supplies Liaise with external contractors and service providers Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and hotel brand standards Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports THE FIRE YOU CARRY Strong technical knowledge of hotel maintenance systems Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills Leadership and team management ability Good organisational and time-management skills Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies calmly Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Budget management and cost-control awareness High attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction YOUR PROVEN TRACK Proven experience in a Chief Engineer or Senior Maintenance role, preferably within a hotel or property environment Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in building or facilities maintenance Relevant technical qualifications or trade background (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or similar) Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards Experience managing a team and working with contractors WHAT WE LOOK FOR We’re here to rethink what a modern lifestyle hotel can be.     Food & Beverage Manager – Eden Locke, Edinburgh We are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join the team at Eden Locke, Edinburgh . Our F&B space is at the heart of the hotel. By day, it is a relaxed coffee shop serving our guests, local community and visitors. As the day moves on, it transforms into a welcoming wine and cocktail bar. We are looking for someone who enjoys being hands on, leading from the front and working closely with their team . You will play a key role in shaping the F&B experience while working closely with the hotel team to create a seamless experience for our guests. About the Job As F&B Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operation and overall performance of our F&B offering . This is a hands on role. You will be on the floor, working alongside your team, supporting service, speaking with guests and making sure everything runs smoothly. You will also take ownership of the commercial side of the operation, including budgets, stock, costs and profitability. You will work closely with the wider hotel team, supporting events, activations and the overall guest experience. We are a collaborative environment, so communication and teamwork are a big part of the role. What You'll Be Doing • Lead the F&B team from the front, setting the standard for service and guest experience. • Oversee the daily operation of the coffee shop and evening wine and cocktail bar. • Create a welcoming, relaxed and memorable experience for our guests and customers. • Coach, support and develop the team, creating a positive and collaborative working environment. • Manage rotas, time and attendance, training and team performance. • Take ownership of F&B budgets, costs and profitability, identifying opportunities to improve performance. • Manage stock levels, ordering and inventory while maintaining quality and controlling costs. • Monitor guest feedback and use it to continuously improve our service and offering. • Handle guest issues and complaints confidently, finding positive and practical solutions. • Work closely with Reception, Operations and other hotel teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. • Support events, activations and lifestyle programming. • Ensure the F&B space is clean, inviting and always reflects the Eden Locke brand. • Ensure all health and safety, licensing, legal and company requirements are followed. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, confident leading a team and comfortable getting stuck in . You will ideally have: • Previous experience managing a Food & Beverage operation or a similar hospitality environment. • A genuine passion for food, drinks and creating great guest experiences. • Good knowledge of wine, spirits and cocktails. • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of budgets, costs and profitability. • Experience managing, coaching and developing a team. • Excellent communication and people skills. • A practical, organised and solution focused approach. • Confidence using POS, stock management and other hospitality systems. Most importantly, you will be someone who leads by example, enjoys working with people and is not afraid to get stuck in wherever needed .
