Role Outline We are currently recruiting for a passionate and Occupational Health experienced Physiotherapist to join our talented, multidisciplinary musculoskeletal team here at Health Partners Group. In this exciting and varied role, you will be based on-site at our client JLR Solihull site in one of their award-winning Centres for Wellbeing (CfW), supporting JLR employees with musculoskeletal health concerns and injuries. These CfWs provide a 'one-stop-shop' for reactive and preventative support for their employees, covering three Wellbeing Pillars: MIND, BODY and LIFE. The CfWs aim is to minimise employee illness, injury, and absence, whilst also working hard to restore function, both physical and psychological, after injury or illness. These services augment and work alongside the current OH referral process. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an exceptional occupational health service, making a meaningful difference to the everyday lives of the JLR employees. What you'll be doing: • Providing accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions., • Classifying presenting musculoskeletal disorders into work-relatedness categories., • Preparing reports for management, detailing fitness to work and recommending adjustments, either short-term, long-term, or permanent., • Leading onsite exercise classes to rehabilitate employees with musculoskeletal injuries., • Working closely alongside the JLR ergonomists, and communicating effectively with the wider occupational health team., • Conducting DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessments and offering prophylactic advice. Recommending changes or equipment required following DSE assessments., • Identifying workplace hazards and assessing the risk of these hazards causing or aggravating MSK ill health., • Conducting ergonomic risk assessments with Safety, Health & Environment advisors to identify risks within specific areas., • Advising the occupational health team on work practice or environment changes needed on a short- or long-term basis., • Effectively rehabilitating employees with MSK disorders, whether work-related or not., • Maintaining comprehensive assessment and treatment records., • Collecting statistical information to support report generation., • Contributing to or running health promotion events. What we are looking for: Essential requirements • Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), • A minimum of 4 years' post-graduate experience, including at least 2 years specialising in musculoskeletal care., • Previous ergonomics experience and sound OH experience is essential; Knowledge of basic workplace ergonomics and fitness for work assessments., • Proficient in IT and comfortable using relevant systems., • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision., • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues., • Customer-focused, flexible, efficient, and highly organised., • Able to plan and prioritise work to achieve objectives set in collaboration with the Occupational Physiotherapy Manager. Desirable skills and qualifications • Post-graduate training in Occupational Health or Ergonomics., • Full membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)., • Membership of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE). Hours This role is full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday. The working hours are 7.30am to 4pm (with 1 hour lunch breaks) between Monday to Thursday, and 7.30am to 1pm on Fridays. Location On-site working at JLR Solihull's award-winning Centre for Wellbeing. Salary We are offering a competitive salary for this role, dependent on experience and qualifications.
