Job Description: Field Managers Multiple Permanent Opportunities Premier Recruit are recruiting on behalf of a leading national infrastructure & services provider Locations: Slough | Thamesmead | Beckton (East London) | Iver (near Slough) We are currently recruiting several Field Managers on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing national organisation. These opportunities are ideal for experienced field-based / mobile workforce managers and are not limited to candidates from the waste or utilities sector . Our client is keen to hear from managers who have led large, geographically spread field teams from sectors such as: Courier & parcel delivery Logistics & transport Field service & engineering Waste management Facilities management Utilities & infrastructure Vacancies by location Slough 2 roles Dartford 4 roles Beckton (East London) 2 roles Iver (near Slough) 3 roles The Role Field Manager (Permanent) Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of field-based engineers delivering both planned and reactive 24/7 services . This is a hands-on, people-focused role within a fast-moving operational environment. Key responsibilities will include: Managing and coordinating field engineers across your region Carrying out site inspections and operational audits Monitoring performance, productivity and service delivery Supporting high-profile and complex operational jobs Managing vehicle utilisation and fleet issues Ensuring effective resource planning and availability Working closely with planners and office-based teams Conducting one-to-ones, performance reviews and development meetings Supporting wellbeing, engagement and retention of field staff Managing disciplinary processes, interviews and reviews in partnership with HR Maintaining high standards of health & safety compliance Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures Supporting the Operations and Senior Leadership teams as required Salary Basic salary: £33,000 £36,000 per annum (depending on experience) On-call allowance included OTE up to £41,500 per annum Working hours Monday to Friday 40 hours per week On-call rota Start times agreed (typically day shifts) Benefits 24 days annual leave + bank holidays (32 days total) Company van for business use ( no tax ) Fully expensed fuel card On-site parking Health cash plan Auto-enrolment pension scheme Personal learning and development support Clear career progression within a growing business About you This role would suit an experienced Field / Operations Manager who has managed mobile or multi-site teams. You will have: Proven people management experience within a field-based or remote workforce Strong operational and performance management skills A proactive and supportive leadership style The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills A strong commitment to health & safety A full UK driving licence Experience within utilities, drainage or wastewater is advantageous, however candidates from courier, logistics, transport and other field-based industries are strongly encouraged to apply .
