They are now looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Representative to become a key part of their growing sales team. Sitting at the forefront of the commercial sales process, you’ll play a vital role in uncovering new business opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers, and creating a strong pipeline for the senior sales team. This is far more than a typical call-centre role. It’s an opportunity to develop real B2B sales expertise, have meaningful commercial conversations, and make a direct impact in one of the UK’s fastest-growing sectors. In this role, you’ll identify and engage target organisations, confidently introduce the value of energy consultation and analysis, and progress qualified opportunities through to a Letter of Authorisation (LoA) before handing them over to senior colleagues. You may be a good fit if you: • Have experience in lead generation, SDR, BDR, telesales, or outbound sales, • Are confident speaking with business decision-makers, • Can ask directly for commitment and next steps, • Communicate clearly and professionally, • Are commercially curious and well-prepared, • Are resilient, motivated, and open to feedback Experience within the energy or utilities sector is a bonus, but not essential.
