Pipeline Integrity Engineer Location: Flexible working with travel across client sites Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + excellent benefits (incl. bonus) About the client Our client is a global operator of fuel storage and pipeline infrastructure, playing a key role in supporting today’s energy needs while investing heavily in a lower-carbon future. The role You’ll provide technical expertise in pipeline engineering and integrity, supporting high-pressure cross-country liquid and gas pipelines across North-West Europe. The role involves inspection planning, data analysis, fitness-for-service assessments, and developing remediation strategies to ensure regulatory and safety compliance. Key responsibilities • Support pipeline inspection, integrity and repair programmes (ILI, defect assessment, remediation), • Analyse inspection data and report on pipeline fitness-for-service, • Ensure compliance with UK and international pipeline safety standards, • Develop integrity plans, procedures, KPIs and technical documentation, • Support audits, incident investigations, emergency preparedness and CAPEX/OPEX planning, • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, projects, HSE and legal teams About you • Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering (or equivalent), • Experience in pipeline integrity within oil & gas or energy infrastructure, • Strong knowledge of PSR 1996, PSSR 2000, PD 8010, ASME/API fitness-for-service codes, • Experience working on COMAH / Major Accident Hazard sites, • Confident communicator with strong analytical skills Benefits • £60k–£70k salary (DOE), • Pension: employee 6% / employer 9%, • 30 days holiday, • Private medical insurance + healthcare cash plan, • Life assurance (x5) & disability insurance, • Career development plans & study support, • Strong wellbeing and inclusion initiatives

Your new role As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of surveying services, including property inspections, defect diagnosis, and compliance assessments. You'll play a key role in ensuring housing standards are met and maintained, with responsibilities including: Conducting general building surveys and preparing detailed reports. Diagnosing damp and mould issues in line with Awaab's Law. Completing disrepair assessments under Section 11 of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985. Supervising contractors in accordance with CDM Regulations 2015. Managing asbestos risks and conducting fire safety evaluations. Producing Energy Performance Certificates for lettings and sales. Maintaining accurate records and collaborating with internal teams to deliver excellent service. This position is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you'll need: A HNC or equivalent qualification in construction or surveying, or extensive experience in a similar Building, Damp & Mould, Disrepair etc Surveyor role. Experience in building surveys, defect diagnosis, and housing disrepair assessments. Knowledge of fire safety, asbestos management, and environmental health legislation. Familiarity with the Housing Health and Safety Rating System and the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018. Strong contract management skills and the ability to produce repair schedules using recognised standards. Strong understanding of Awaab's Law, Decent Homes Standard, HHSRS etc. Visa sponsorship will not be offered for this role.
