We believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home. \n \n When you join us, you'll benefit from: \n\n • The opportunity to make a genuine impact on resident safety and wellbeing\n, • A collaborative and supportive working environment\n, • Professional development and ongoing learning opportunities\n, • A strong commitment to innovation, compliance and continuous improvement\n, • A culture built on responsibility, empathy, ambition and working together\n\n \n As Fire & Building Safety Manager, you will: \n\n • Lead the planning, delivery and assurance of fire and building safety projects across our housing portfolio.\n, • Support compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Order and associated legislation.\n, • Develop, maintain and update Building Safety Case Reports and Golden Thread information.\n, • Manage fire risk assessments and oversee remediation programmes, ensuring actions are delivered within agreed timescales.\n, • Monitor contractor and consultant performance, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and other statutory requirements.\n, • Produce high-quality compliance reports, governance papers, project reports and regulatory submissions.\n, • Build strong working relationships with residents, regulators, contractors and internal stakeholders.\n, • Support regulatory inspections, audits and investigations.\n, • Lead and develop team members, providing guidance, support and performance management.\n, • Participate in out-of-hours escalation and incident response arrangements.\n, • Drive continuous improvement across fire and building safety processes and practices.\n\n \n We're looking for someone who can bring: \n Essential Skills & Experience \n\n • Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Order and relevant building safety legislation.\n, • Experience delivering fire and building safety projects within housing, construction, property or a related environment.\n, • Understanding of Building Safety Cases, Golden Thread requirements and compliance reporting.\n, • Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and contractor management.\n, • Excellent report-writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\n, • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.\n, • Experience leading, mentoring or managing colleagues.\n, • A commitment to resident safety and continuous improvement.\n\n \n Qualifications \n\n • Relevant fire or building safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH or equivalent).\n, • Building-related degree or equivalent professional experience.\n, • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a fire or building safety role.\n, • Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).\n\n \n If you're passionate about building safety, thrive in a collaborative environment and want to help create safer homes for our residents, we'd love to hear from you. \n \n Please note: We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should sufficient applications be received.
