The Role This is a high-impact, hands-on role working directly with the CEO and senior leadership team. You will be responsible for developing and scaling digital products and audience engagement strategies across the Group. Acting as the bridge between editorial, commercial and technology teams, you will ensure that innovation is not only created, but successfully implemented, adopted and scaled across multiple brands. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, testing and rolling out products in practice—rather than purely managing from a distance. Key Responsibilities Product Development & Delivery • Own and deliver digital products including newsletters, app features, audience tools and AI-driven functionality, • Translate strategic priorities into clear product requirements, • Manage the full product lifecycle: ideation, pilot, rollout and optimisation, • Develop and maintain a cross-group product roadmap aligned to commercial impact Audience Growth & Engagement • Build scalable frameworks to grow and engage audiences across digital channels, • Develop and embed high-performing content formats (video, social, data-led content, newsletters), • Optimise audience journeys from content consumption through to subscription and event participation, • Align audience strategies with revenue objectives including subscriptions and events Innovation & AI • Identify and implement AI-driven tools to enhance personalisation and content discovery, • Pilot and scale new content formats and digital experiences, • Ensure innovations are structured, repeatable and scalable across brands Stakeholder Collaboration & Adoption • Work closely with editorial, marketing, commercial and technology teams, • Drive adoption of new tools, formats and processes across multiple brands, • Develop playbooks, templates and training to support consistent execution, • Lead change and influence stakeholders across the organisation Performance & Optimisation • Define success metrics for all initiatives, • Track performance across audience growth, engagement, subscriptions and event conversion, • Use data and insights to continuously refine products and strategies, • Report progress and opportunities to senior leadership About You • 3–6+ years’ experience in digital product management, audience development, or digital media, • Strong understanding of content, audience growth and commercial models, • Experience working across editorial, commercial and technology teams, • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action, • Comfortable working in a hands-on, execution-focused environment, • Experience with newsletters, content formats, engagement strategies or lifecycle journeys, • Interest in AI and emerging technologies within content and audience platforms, • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Why Join Us • Work directly with the CEO on high-priority strategic initiatives, • Make a visible impact across a multi-brand, growing business, • Shape how a modern media company evolves in a rapidly changing digital landscape, • Combine product, content, data and commercial thinking in one role, • If you’re passionate about building products, growing audiences and driving measurable impact, we’d love to hear from you What we offer Learning & Development: At emap, we believe that employee learning and development are the key drivers of our success.
