About the Role As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people to feel safe, valued, and empowered. Actively contribute to creating a safe, therapeutic, and child-centred home environment What were looking for: Previous experience of working with children or young people, ideally within a residential care or social care setting. A compassionate and resilient approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable young people. Ability to work a rota pattern including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong teamwork abilities. A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure. Full UK driving licence. Desirable: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this qualification fully funded by the organisation). Understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and child development. IT and record-keeping skills. What We Offer Competitive salary: £27,500 £29,000 (dependent on experience).
