YMCA Robin Hood Group are creating a brand-new role within our Marketing team. Were looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist with at least five years experience in a similar role to lead and deliver high-performing paid media campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, email, websites and digital platforms. \n Youll work closely with the other members of our small marketing team, internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver fully integrated campaigns that support the YMCAs mission and growth ambitions. \n\n\n Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist \n Split between our Community & Activity Village in Newark & the Malt Cross in Nottingham with 1 day working from home \n Lead on planning, delivering and optimising paid social media campaigns \n Manage email marketing and website content updates \n Use data and insights through GA4, GTM and Meta/Google Ads to drive campaign performance improvements, inform decision-making and measure campaign impact \n To own and ensure all paid digital marketing activity reflects the YMCAs brand, values and mission while achieving measurable results. \n Manage stakeholder communications , keeping the Head of Marketing and colleagues informed on progress and impact. \n Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure joined-up marketing campaigns across all channels. \n\n\n With at least 5 years experience delivering multi-channel campaigns (paid social, Google Ads, email, web), you will have strong skills in targeting, optimisation, budgeting, keyword strategy, and campaign reporting. \n You can demonstrate your ability in email marketing automation (segmentation, workflows, personalisation), plus experience in SEO (technical, content, on-page) and CRO/UX (A/B testing, user journey optimisation). \n You will be competent in CMS management, landing page builds, site optimisation, analytics setup, UTM conventions, and web accessibility standards (WCAG). \n You will be skilled at managing freelancers, agencies, and internal teams, using project management tools to deliver integrated campaigns on time and on brand. \n As an excellent communicator, you will be a strong copywriter with previous stakeholder communication skills, ensuring campaigns meet brand guidelines, GDPR/PECR requirements, and tone of voice standards. \n With a strategic mindset, you will be able to set KPIs, analyse data into actionable insights, apply a test and learn approach, and manage workload effectively in high-volume environments. \n\n Everything we do is inspired by our ambition that every child and young person we support: \n \n Builds the relationships that help them discover who they are \n Funded training, qualifications & career progression across YMCA services \n~ Wellbeing package (after passing probation): 24/7 GP access, health/dental cashback, Employment Assistance Programme \n Discounted YMCA childcare & holiday clubs \n Blue Light Card eligibility + 10% discount at YMCA Caf and Malt Cross \n\n \n Diversity & Safer Recruitment \n\n YMCA Robin Hood Group is committed to equal opportunities , promoting diversity , and creating an inclusive culture where all staff can thrive. \n \n We follow rigorous safer recruitment processes to ensure the protection of children, young people, and adults at risk.
