We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant (SENTA) to join schools across the London area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties, • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lesson plans and adapting learning materials, • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development, • Help manage challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner, • Encourage engagement and participation in classroom activities, • Support with personal care where required, • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals Requirements: • Minimum of 1 year’s experience working with SEN pupils, • At least 1 year of experience working within a UK school setting, • Strong understanding of SEN needs, including Autism and ADHD, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach, • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff, • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Desirable: • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare, • Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs, • Training in behaviour management or safeguarding What We Offer: • Competitive pay rates, • Flexible working opportunities, • Ongoing training and professional development, • Support from a dedicated consultant, • Opportunity to work in a variety of schools across London If you are passionate about supporting children with SEN and meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you
