We assist all employers when they want to source public safety and enterprise security skills and experience.\n \n Team Manager - Safer Accommodation & Response to Complexity (R2C)\n Location: Nottingham - Women's Aid premises, including co-location with statutory partners and community settings\n Hours: 30 hours per week\n Contract: 6 month temporary to Permanent\n Salary: £25,855.14 \n\nAbout the Role\n We are seeking an experienced and passionate Domestic Abuse specialist to join our leadership team as a Team Manager within our Safer Accommodation and Response to Complexity (R2C) services.\n This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, and survivor-centred support to women and children affected by domestic abuse. You will play a vital role in ensuring service excellence, supporting staff development, and shaping innovative responses to complex needs.\n This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of survivors.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n Service Management & Delivery\n\nLead the delivery of high-quality, survivor-focused services across varying risk levels\nEnsure compliance with contracts, policies, and national standards\nOversee risk management and safeguarding practices for both survivors and staff\nContribute to service development aligned with strategic prioritiesTeam Leadership & Development\n\nLine manage and support Survivor Advocacy Support Workers\nLead recruitment, supervision, and performance management\nFacilitate team meetings, case reviews, and reflective practice\nFoster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team cultureStrategic & Partnership Working\n\nBuild strong relationships with statutory and community partners\nRepresent the service at multi-agency forums\nContribute to service design, development, and future funding opportunities\nPromote accessibility and engagement with underrepresented communitiesMonitoring, Quality & Compliance\n\nOversee data collection, reporting, and service evaluation\nLead on audits and quality assurance processes\nEnsure GDPR and data protection compliance across the teamHealth, Safety & Safeguarding\n\nAct as Health and Safety lead for the service\nEnsure adherence to safeguarding, equality, and diversity policies\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practiceAbout You\n We are looking for a confident and compassionate leader with:\n Experience\n\nManaging teams within domestic abuse or voluntary sector services\nSupporting survivors with complex needs and crisis intervention\nSafeguarding, risk assessment (e.g. DASH), and case management\nMulti-agency working and advocacy\nWorking with marginalised and minoritised communitiesKnowledge\n\nStrong understanding of domestic abuse, housing, welfare, and safeguarding\nFamiliarity with MARAC processes and trauma-informed practice\nAwareness of systemic barriers faced by diverse communities\nUnderstanding of quality assurance and contract complianceSkills\n\nStrong leadership and team development capability\nExcellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills\nAbility to manage competing priorities and complex service delivery\nEmpathetic, non-judgemental, and survivor-focused approachQualifications\n\nRelevant qualification (e.g. IDVA, social work, or management) or equivalent experience\nWillingness to undertake further training if requiredAdditional Information\n\nThis role is subject to a 6-month probation period\nEnhanced DBS check required\nYou must be able to travel across service locations\nThis post is open to women only under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1\n \n Due to the high volume of applications we receive, if you do not hear from us within 7 working days, your application has been unsuccessful.\n \n If this role is not for you but you do know somebody who would be interested, please feel free to refer them to us!
