Position Overview: The Area Sales Consultant is an individual-contributor sales role responsible for driving Amber Homes manufactured home sales across multiple communities. The position is deployed where inventory is available, sales performance needs to improve, or additional field coverage is required. This role owns the full sales cycle, including lead generation, appointment setting, showings, applications, lender coordination, and closing. Success requires consistent prospecting, disciplined CRM use, strong follow-through, and the ability to produce reliable monthly sales results with limited day-to-day supervision. Primary Objective: Convert available inventory into closed home sales as quickly and efficiently as possible while delivering a professional customer experience and following company sales, finance, and compliance processes. Key Responsibilities: As Area Sales Consultant, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Full Pipeline Ownership • Create and manage HubSpot deal cards once an appointment is scheduled, • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely CRM activity each business day, • Own each opportunity from first contact through closing, including follow-up and documentation, • Coordinate with Community Managers, sales leadership, lenders, and internal partners to keep deals movingLead Generation & Marketing, • Post and refresh listings daily on Facebook Marketplace, local groups, and other approved channels, • Re-engage aged leads at 30, 60, and 90+ days and pursue other available prospecting opportunities, • Convert inbound inquiries into scheduled appointments using timely, consistent follow-up, • Maintain accurate home information, pricing, photos, and sales collateral for assigned inventoryAppointment & Conversion Execution, • Respond to new leads promptly, with same-day follow-up as the minimum standard, • Conduct professional showings, identify buyer needs, and guide qualified prospects toward application, • Use feature-benefit selling, objection handling, and clear next steps to improve conversion, • Follow all customer communication, fair housing, licensing, and company compliance requirementsDeal Progression & Closing, • Submit complete applications within 24-48 hours after the customer commits to moving forward, • Proactively coordinate lender conditions, deposits, documentation, and customer communication, • Escalate barriers early and recommend solutions that protect the customer experience and closing timeline, • Drive deals toward closing within 30 days whenever possibleInventory Focus & Field Coverage, • Confirm assigned homes are clean, accessible, accurately priced, and ready to show, • Host open houses and sales events, with regular weekend availability, • Travel to and support multiple assigned communities based on inventory and business needsPerformance Expectations:, • Sales Production: Target of 3+ closed home sales per month, adjusted as appropriate for market conditions and available inventory, • Activity: Consistent daily outbound prospecting, listing, marketing, and follow-up activity, • Pipeline: An active pipeline of qualified, progressing opportunities at all times, • Closing Speed: The majority of transactions closed within 30 days whenever financing and operational conditions allow, • Accountability: Accurate CRM records and timely communication of results, risks, and next stepsQualifications:, • 2+ years of successful sales experience; manufactured housing, real estate, automotive, retail, or other consultative sales experience preferred, • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage a pipeline, overcome objections, and close business, • Experience working across multiple locations or territories preferred, • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, time management, and follow-through, • Comfort using CRM systems, digital listing platforms, reporting tools, and Google Workspace, • Bilingual English/Spanish preferredRequirements:, • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a vehicle for local and regional travel, • Ability and willingness to travel including short-notice assignments and overnight travel, • Regular weekend availability for open houses, appointments, and sales events, • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and manage multiple priorities, • Ability to sit or drive for extended periods and navigate roads, airports, hotels, communities, and work locations, • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb stairs, traverse varied surfaces, and lift or carry materials and luggage weighing up to 25-50 pounds, • Ability to work business hours as required by the Company and reliably meet attendance and performance expectations, • Willingness to complete drug testing as required and permitted by applicable law, • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of any lawfully permitted background check conducted after a conditional job offer, • Must meet company standards for integrity, reliability, and trust appropriate for a role handling customers, transactions, and company assets WGP Property Management is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
