We're looking for a Director of Nursing who wants their work to mean something — a senior clinical leader who brings vision, accountability, and compassion to overseeing home health and infusion nursing services. Why This Role Matters The Director of Nursing is responsible for the clinical integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence of nursing services across home‑based care programs. This role ensures patients receive consistently high‑quality care while supporting and developing nursing teams across the organization. In this role, you'll contribute to work that: • Ensures patients receive safe, effective nursing care in their homes, • Builds strong nursing teams grounded in evidence‑based practice and accountability, • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards (URAC, ACHC), • Supports a patient‑first, clinician‑led organization focused on outcomes, • Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Nursing Services Department in alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals, • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as URAC and ACHC accreditation standards, • Develop, maintain, and regularly update nursing policies, procedures, and clinical standards, • Provide oversight for home health nursing services, including subcontracted providers, • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of nursing staff, • Oversee nurse competency development, licensure maintenance, and continuing education, • Manage nursing department budgets and expenses, • Lead quality assurance, performance improvement, and corrective action initiatives, • Collaborate with Medical Director and Operations leadership on admissions processes and active patient management, • Review patient care plans and clinical records to ensure quality, safety, and compliance, • Foster strong coordination between nursing services and other patient care teams, • Maintain productive relationships with physicians and referral partners, • Serve as a senior clinical escalation point for patient care concerns, • Strong clinical leadership experience in home health or infusion services, • Deep commitment to patient safety, quality, and nurse development, • Confidence managing regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness, • Strategic thinking paired with operational execution, • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State, • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in home care or hospital nursing, • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing leadership or management experience, • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, • Master's degree in Nursing or related field, • Specialty nursing certification, • Nurse License Compact eligibility Here, you'll find: • Purpose‑driven clinical leadership with system‑wide impact, • A patient‑first, clinician‑led culture, • Strong partnership across nursing, pharmacy, and operations, • Executive visibility and meaningful influence over care delivery While performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, or sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
