Job Description Basic Function This position reports to and supports the Director of Athletics. Works with substantial independence to oversee all aspects of the women's lacrosse program and coordinate athletic recruiting efforts across-all sports. Essential Functions Athletics Recruiting Coordinator • Collaborates with the Director of Admissions, Admissions Counselors, and Athletics Head Coaches to recruit prospective student-athletes., • Develops and executes strategic recruiting plans for all varsity sports, with a focus on increasing enrollment and athletic competitiveness., • Manages and tracks recruiting budgets in coordination with the Director of Athletics and Assistant Director., • Serves as the primary liaison between the Athletics Department and the Admissions Office., • Attends admissions staff meetings and contributes to recruitment strategy discussions., • Provides information and referral to internal and external inquiries concerning the department., • Coordinates logistics of the recruiting process, including meeting with prospective students, attending recruiting events, setting up campus visits, and guiding applicants through the admissions process., • Oversees NCAA compliance in athletic recruitment., • Independently plans and executes athletics recruiting/admissions events. Head Women's Lacrosse Coach • Independently manages all aspects of the women's lacrosse program., • Designs and implements practice plans focused on skill development, team strategy, and player growth., • Leads team in competitive play, ensuring adherence to NCAA, conference, and university standards., • Recruits student-athletes specifically for the women's lacrosse program, including evaluation, outreach, and campus visits., • Develops internal team policies and culture in alignment with university values., • Coordinates travel, meals, scheduling, and logistics for games and practices., • Supervises assistant coaches and student workers., • Oversees fundraising initiatives and alumni engagement for the lacrosse program., • Maintains accurate records of team performance, academic progress, and compliance. Campus Security Authority (CSA) This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). A CSA is an individual who, by virtue of their University responsibilities and under the Clery Act, is designated to receive and report criminal incidents to the Department of Risk Management and Public Safety for inclusion in the University's annual security report. Qualifications Knowledge: Bachelor's degree required. Lacrosse coaching experience required. Experience: Three years of experience in database management and working knowledge of large-scale, multivariate databases. Previous supervisory experience is needed. Skills/ Aptitude: Strong technology skills required along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent judgment, attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities. Ability to identify tasks that need to be completed with minimal direction and oversight. Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Some flexibility may be required.
