Duties • Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers., • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative learning technology and Montessori methods where appropriate., • Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies, promoting social-emotional skills and respectful interactions among students., • Hands-on experience using learning technology tools to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement., • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, families, therapists, and community partners., • Knowledge of childhood development principles across various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers., • Create a warm, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to come to school., • At least 1–2 years of experience working with children ages infants–4 (student teaching counts!)., • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)., • Radiantly positive and optimistic — you’re the person who finds the silver lining on rainy indoor recess days., • Endless patience paired with authentic enthusiasm; you celebrate small victories like they’re Olympic gold medals., • Warm, approachable, and genuinely affectionate — hugs, high-fives, and encouraging words are your love language., • Flexible and resilient — you laugh off spilled paint and turn tears into giggles., • A natural encourager who believes every child is capable, unique, and absolutely wonderful., • Team player with a sunny disposition; you lift others up and bring positive energy to staff meetings and planning sessions.
