Job DescriptionDescription: With a customer service orientation, Therapy Office Receptionist is a member of the therapy office support team working under the supervision of the Therapy Director. As a Therapy Office Receptionist, greeting patients with a welcoming demeanor, answering phones, checking patients in and out of the office, scheduling appointments, assisting with billing and insurance, and maintaining accurate medical records are all important aspects of the position. Requirements: • Check in and check out patients for their appointments, • Check voicemails and return phone calls for patients, providers, etc., • Answer phones calls, • Make follow up appointments for internal and external patients, • Verify patient benefits for physical therapy; ensure the EHR/PM systems are updated and request authorization for physical therapy as needed, • Check fax (Provider Flow) and respond to all faxes, • Call and confirm patients’ appointments for the following days and pull out all corresponding charts, • Scan patients’ information (benefits, scripts and medical history) from ModMed to TheraOffice, • Ensure PT orders are sent to TheraOffice and that all the information transferred through correctly, • Ensure that patient notes are linked to patient chart and order in the PM system (ModMed), • Assist with any translation between the therapist and the patient as needed, • Collect and post patient co-pays, deductibles and/or balance as required, • While primarily focused on front desk responsibilities, the Therapy Office Receptionist will be cross-trained on Physical Therapy Aide duties OrthoNJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to include the salary range for this role. The hourly hiring range for this role is $15.50-$24. The range for this role is typically determined by several factors, including the geography in which the selected candidate will be working, and alignment with qualifications and experience. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation (bonus, etc.) and/or benefits. In addition, full-time employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, vison and retirement plan.
