Job Description DEPARTMENT: Aquatics JOB TITLE: Seasonal Pool Front Desk Attendant REPORTS TO: Director of Aquatics SCHEDULE: Part-Time / Seasonal (May through September; evenings, weekends, and holidays required) COMPENSATION: Hourly BENEFITS: Meals, paid time off, and golf privileges for full-time seasonal employees Burning Tree Country Club is seeking a professional, welcoming, and detail-oriented Seasonal Pool Front Desk Attendant to support the operations of our Aquatics facilities. As the first point of contact for Members and guests entering the aquatics area, this role serves as an ambassador for the Club. The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for greeting Members, managing check-ins, responding to phone inquiries, and assisting with administrative tasks that support the daily operations of the pool and aquatics programming. Through professionalism, organization, and attentive service, this position helps ensure a welcoming and efficient experience for all Members and guests visiting the aquatics facilities. The Essentials (Core Responsibilities) • Greet Members and guests entering the aquatics facility with a welcoming and professional presence, • Check in Members and guests using the pool facilities, • Answer multi-line telephones and direct calls appropriately, • Take messages and relay information accurately and professionally, • Direct Members and guests to appropriate areas or staff when needed, • Draft and send professional email correspondence when required, • Assist with reservations, scheduling, and administrative tasks related to aquatics programming, • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times, • Deliver consistent, courteous Member service, • Demonstrate strong telephone etiquette and communication skills, • Build positive relationships with Members, guests, and Club staff, • Stay organized and attentive to detail when managing administrative tasks, • Adapt quickly to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively, • Hospitality, customer service, or aquatics industry experience preferred Skills & Competencies • Strong administrative and organizational skills, • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Strong listening and interpersonal skills, • Ability to build rapport and maintain a professional atmosphere Physical Requirements • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, • Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 15 pounds
