Position Overview Horwitz is seeking motivated, dependable students to join our team as Marketing Interns and Human Resources Interns. These are two separate internship roles, posted together for visibility, and candidates may apply to one or both based on interest and qualifications. Both internships offer hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while supporting key business and people-focused initiatives. Interns will gain practical exposure aligned with Horwitzs core values:Safe, Accountable, Professional, Motivated, Can Do, and Curious. Marketing Intern *Please include any relevant marketing samples (campaigns, social media content, graphics, writing pieces, etc.) with your application. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Communications Support * • Support content updates for the website, social media platforms, and internal communications., • Research and identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency and processes., • Support sponsorship coordination and event logistics for internal and external events, such as golf events, networking events, and conferences., • Assist with preparation of marketing and business development reports., • Commit to continuous learning and improvement - get better every day., • Conduct yourself in alignment with Horwitzs values, • Support special marketing projects and perform other duties as assigned., • Help maintain digital asset libraries and project databases + company store inventory., • Help update CRM data and track basic opportunity information as directed., • Help gather and organize photos, project information, and team bios for use in marketing materials., • Assist with creating and updating marketing materials, including proposals, presentations, and general marketing collateral. Education & Experience * • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field., • Positive, dependable team player with a willingness to learn., • Clear written and verbal communication skills., • Interest in marketing, communications, or the construction/AEC industry., • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required., • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)., • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Human Resources Intern Key Responsibilities • Assist with interview scheduling and candidate communication, • Support onboarding processes and compliance documentation tracking, • Maintain applicant and employee records in HR systems, • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and internal events, • Support HR projects, reporting, and administrative tasks Skills • Strong organizational and time-management skills, • Professional verbal and written communication, • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Education & Experience • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related program, • Previous exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee records, or HR systems is a plus, but not required, • Strong interest in learning HR operations, employee relations, and administrative processes
