    The In-Home Caregiver provides compassionate, high-quality, non-medical care and support to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes. The caregiver assists clients with activities of daily living, promotes independence, ensures a safe living environment, and provides companionship while maintaining each client’s dignity, privacy, and respect. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene., • Help clients with mobility, transfers, positioning, walking, and the safe use of mobility equipment., • Prepare and serve nutritious meals based on the client’s dietary needs and preferences., • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, vacuuming, dusting, dishwashing, changing bed linens, and maintaining a clean and safe home environment., • Provide medication reminders as directed by the client’s care plan (does not administer medications unless authorized by state regulations)., • Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and community activities when required., • Provide companionship through conversation, recreational activities, and emotional support to reduce loneliness and improve quality of life., • Observe and report changes in the client’s physical condition, mental status, or living environment to the supervisor promptly., • Maintain accurate daily documentation of services provided and client observations., • Follow each client’s individualized care plan and agency policies., • Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all applicable federal, state, and agency regulations., • Respond appropriately to emergencies and immediately notify the supervisor of incidents or concerns., • Treat all clients, family members, and coworkers with professionalism, dignity, and respect.
