This individual will partner with executive leadership, managers, supervisors, and frontline employees to establish safety as a core organizational value.Key Responsibilities:, • Lead initiatives designed to strengthen and improve overall safety culture, • Build relationships with employees at all levels through active, in-person engagement, • Mentor and coach first-line supervisors to improve safety leadership and accountability, • Develop and conduct safety training programs for large groups, departments, and individual employees, • Create, revise, and implement safety policies, procedures, and best practices, • Provide one-on-one coaching, follow-up training, and reinforcement of safety expectations, • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all training activities, • Evaluate, select, and implement a Learning Management System (LMS) to track and manage training compliance, • Partner with supervisors and managers to ensure corrective actions from audits, inspections, and incident investigations are effectively completed, • Establish processes for tracking and verifying corrective action completion, • Develop and implement modern electronic inspection and reporting systems, • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, • Drive continuous improvement efforts and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives, • Evaluate and implement proactive safety programs, including Behavior-Based Safety methodologies when appropriateEnvironmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator Job Requirements, • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Human Resources, or a related field, • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation preferred; equivalent safety certification will be considered, • 5+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment, • Proven track record of improving safety culture and influencing organizational change, • Experience developing and delivering employee training programs, • Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and communication skills, • Experience managing corrective action programs and safety compliance initiatives, • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and electronic safety management tools, • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices, • Ability to build trust and credibility with employees at every organizational level, • Strong documentation, organizational, and project management skillsApply today to learn more about this confidential career opportunity and become the driving force behind a safer, stronger workplace.PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary-to-hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
