Full-Time Team Members (30+ hours per week) • Eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and RX after 30 days of employment, • Company-Paid Group Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability (after 90 days), • Flexible Spending Accounts, • 401(k) Retirement Plan: Eligible after 90 days of employment (age 18+), • Employer Match after 90 days, • On-Site Gym, • Referral Bonus Program, • Compassion and Relief Fund, • Wellness Programs, • Employee Assistance Program, • Discount Programs, • 24-hour coffee/tea service, • Appreciation Days & Special Events, • Potential for Annual Resident Christmas Bonus and Increases What You’ll Do • Prepare grill and fryer items as ordered and according to recipes, • Assist with deli and pizza preparation as needed, • Enter customer orders accurately into the point of sale system, • Demonstrate knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques, • Follow all safety and sanitation rules and practices, • Work independently while following proper direction and guidance, • Consult with the Chef or Manager on unusual problems and take appropriate action, • Prepare hot foods, including accompaniments and garnishes, • Perform advance food preparation as needed, • Ensure plated food is visually appealing and follows recipe standards, • Complete food temperature checks and taste all prepared items, • Record preparation details and properly store food items after service, • Clean work areas and kitchen equipment used in food preparation, • Follow correct procedures for lifting, bending, and general kitchen safety, • Demonstrate knowledge of fire safety procedures, • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations, • Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents, staff, and self, • Follow the organization’s code of conduct in all duties, • High school education or equivalent preferred, • Prior cooking experience in a food service environment desired, • Ability to stand, maneuver, and work safely on tile floors for an 8-hour shift, • Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds using proper lifting techniques, • Adequate vision, hearing, and speech to perform essential job functions, • Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment and point of sale system, • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently, • Demonstrates respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence in all interactions, • Commitment to person-centered care and excellent customer service
